Wrting c# code to use partialfields??

Nov 6, 2008 at 5:46 AM
Hi all,

partialfields=department:IT

Supposing my partialfields is like above, i use the below code (c#),
Query oGSAQuery = new Query();
Hashtable ht = new Hashtable;
ht.add("department","IT");
oGSAQuery.setPartialMetaFields(ht);

partialfields=department:IT|department:Finance

However if my partialfields is like above i cannot use the below code,
Query oGSAQuery = new Query();
Hashtable ht = new Hashtable;
ht.add("department","IT");
ht.add("department","Finance");
 //error since hashtable's key cannot be duplicate
oGSAQuery.setPartialMetaFields(ht);

So, my question is, "is there a way to write code for this* kind of query"
this* - partialfields=department:IT|department:Finance

Having this issue and saw this post from waaaay back, why has this not been resolved yet?  :(  this issue hits all the required stuff (partial required etc). This stops the ability to be able to use this functionality which is not good.

I would say, because we never use it that way.  :)  This is an open source project so we obviously encourage you to contribute back to it.

That's said, 1.4 should be released in a few weeks with multiple enhancements.
